Product Enhancements
- StarFire™ 3000 Receiver offers Shared Signal
Shared Signal allows two StarFire 3000 receivers to share correctional signal in dual receiver applications. The overall system accuracy matches the higher signal level. Producers can pair a receiver with RTK with a receiver with SF2, and have RTK accuracy and repeatability. Pair a SF2 receiver with a SF1 receiver and have SF2 accuracy. Shared Signal is available for iSteer™ - RTK Enhancement
RTK now offers SF2 accuracy when RTK Extend has expired. - iGrade™ Max Cut
Max Cut allows operators to limit the operating depth of the implement blade, regardless of where grade is. As an example, an operator is 12" away from grade, and cannot cut it all at once. The operator can use Max Cut to move only 2" of dirt at a time. The operator defines how deep to cut at a time and can be easily adjusted on the homepage. - iSteer™ enhancements
When equipped with two StarFire 3000 Receivers, iSteer works with SF2 and is compatible with Shared Signal.
Enhancements to the GS3 2630 Display
- Swath Control Pro –Name Change
With the exciting news of ISOBUS compatibility delivered through the SU11-2, John Deere is changing the name of its popular Swath Control Pro™ to
John Deere Section Control for the GS3 2630. - Video enhancements

A calculator is available in the Menu for basic calculations. - List cleanup
The "List Cleanup" option will appear in the drop-down lists of Client/Farm/Field/Boundary, where the operator can use a checkbox to select items to rename or delete. - Shapefile preview
Customers can preview Shapefile prescriptions prior to accepting them in the GreenStar 3 2630 Display. The preview shows the operator an image of the field with the color target rate map, all without requiring the operator to be in that particular field. - Tracking Mode – Swap Track
Swap Track makes using multiple AutoTrac™ tracking modes in the same field simple and easy. This new guidance mode allows the operator to quickly toggle between two existing guidance lines. This feature is available for straight tracks, AB curve tracks and circle tracks. - Notes linked to field
In addition to Task Notes, you can now type Field Notes for a field. These notes will also appear in Apex when data is unloaded. - Find field option in field drop-down list
This option provides easy access to Field Locator. It is located in the Field selection drop-down list. When selected, Field Locator alerts the operator of the field in which it detects the machine is operating in, as well as other nearby fields. - Enhanced scroll bars
Scroll bars can now be dragged down with a finger swipe instead of incrementally pushing one of the up or down arrows.
Enhancements for the GS2 1800 Display
- John Deere Documentation Basics
The display can be used to document and report basic field data. - List cleanup

Enhancements to Apex Farm Management software
- Record Keeping activation
The Record Keeping activation within Apex enables financial tracking. The Record Keeping activation allows users to track income and expenses associated with their farming operation by utilizing the documented information from GreenStar displays to incorporate in six new financial reports and three financial maps. - Harvest post-calibration enhancement
This new feature allows users to post calibrate yield data based on several different criteria such as machine, variety, and field to generate a calibration factor summary report that details all the different calibration values. - Seeding, application, and tillage post calibration
Apex allows users to post calibrate "Total Area" data in seeding, tillage, and application tasks. If a discrepancy in total area covered occurs in any of the above applications, Apex users can adjust the total area value to accurately reflect the amount of land worked.
